NOTE: ARK Theology is NOT a timed test. Timers and Test length are for your Reference as a Proctor. Students can take as much time as you allow to complete their test.

1. Navigate to your Testing Dashboard for the Testing Section you are about to administer. (For help and more details on how to navigate the testing dashboard, please refer to the following help article)

2. Click “Send Login Links” and skip to step 4 or if not yet complete, “Print Passwords” to generate the Username for each Student and the common Testing Section Password. 
3. Print this file and prepare each Student’s unique login credentials in a manner suiting the age of your Students (see suggestions on the Preparing Student Login Credentials page linked here).
4. Click the “Open Grade...” button
5. NOTE: NEW Feature. After Opening the Section, for grades 2 - 6, an "Enable Audio" button will appear to allow the Proctor to provide audio players for all students in the section. This will allow the Proctor to ensure all students have headphones. When enabled, The Questions and Answers will each include a 'play' button to have the respective item read to them.  The Proctor can also Disable the feature after it is enabled for any reason.  This is a Section-wide function.
6. Have Students navigate to test.arktest.org/student_login and log in with their unique credentials. You, or other adults, might need to enter these ahead of time for younger Students.
7. Have Students confirm their Name and Date of Birth on their individual holding screen.
8. Confirm that all Students appear as “Online” in the Status field of your Dashboard.
9. Select “Begin Test” when ready to start for all Students. NOTE: Due to internet changes, some schools will need to have the students refresh their browser page to see the "Proceed to Test" button on the Student's login/hold page.
10. During the Test you will see Students’ progress indicated in the Dashboard.
11. Once all Students have completed the Test, or you have provided the amount of time you wish to allot to the Section, click “Close Test,” and all responses will be saved and the test will be sumbitted. ONLY press the Close test button when ALL of your students have tested (including absent students!). If you need to extend on into another day or test absent students at a later time, press "Pause test"

• In an emergency, such as a fire drill or sudden Student illness, you can “Pause Test” to temporarily stop all Student submissions. You may then “Resume Test” when ready to begin again for all Students.
• If a student is absent on the day of testing, you can leave them in the testing section. The section will "pause" overnight and you can "resume" it when the absent students are ready to test.
