2025-2026 Testing Screen updates
The ARK Assessments team has been busy refreshing all the screens on the ARK system. The first change you will see is on the Testing Screens.
- After logging-in, you will see a new hold screen. This screen shows the user name and birthdate along with the honor code. For 2025-26, we are also now offering the assessment in Spanish. The user can select a Spanish interface in addition to the questions enculturated in Spanish.
When the Proctor has Begun the assessment, the user can refresh their browser window and see the active test selection.
Remember, only one test in a section can be active at a time.
- For Grades 2-6 English Theology, the Proctor can "Enable Audio" for all students. This activates a play button for all questions and answer selections. Students can click on the proper answer then Next Question to submit the answer and proceed to the next question.
For Academics Kindergarten and 1st Grade, the audio players are automatically included with the questions and responses.
- For Theology, there is a Break Screen between the scored Knowledge questions and the anonymous Beliefs questions:
- At the completion of the assessment, the Close Screen announces the end and provides a button for the student to log out of their session.

Even if the student is using their own device, ARK Recommends using the button to properly log out. If students use the 'x' to close out the browser, the system will not update them as being offline.
