Adding Students to Testing Section

To add students to a testing section:


There are Three ways to assign students to Testing Sections once your students are loaded into ARK:

1. Duplicate Classes as Testing Sections

- Ensure all Students are added to their classes

- Navigate to your "Classes" list

- Click "Duplicate Class as Testing Section" button



2. Bulk assignment (but can be done for even one student) goes as follows:
- Go to the "Students" page 
- Click "Filter" and select the grade you wish to populate and click "Apply"
- In the resulting list of students select the one, two, many or All (by selecting the checkbox in the table header)
- Once even a single student is selected, the "Select Testing Section" drop-down appears in the upper right corner of the ARK page.
- When you have the selection ready, click "Select Testing Section" and then  "+Add to Testing Section" to assign the student(s) to that section.
- Repeat across any grades where you need to make assignments




3. Individual assignment:
- Navigate to the Testing Sections menu
- Find the section of interest and click the three dot menu on the far right side
- In the menu, select "View"




- in the resulting window, select the "Students" Tab
- then select "+New"


- In the popup window, select the Student you wish to add
- Press "Save & Close" or "Save & Add more" depending on the number you need to add
